Flashback Weekend: Day One
Running concurrently with Chicago Comic Con and across the street from the Convention Center is Flashback Weekend, a horror themed event. And yet, the smaller Con is so far the better of the two.
Initially everyone was pretty cheesed off, as the event was to begin at 3PM yet most of us didn’t even get our tickets until around 4:30. It was a pretty terrible check in process, one that does not look to get any better before the end of the event. Luckily the participants inside more than made up for it.
Chicago Comic Con: Day Two
Day one at Chicago Comic Con was a brief, less populated affair. Day two is actually the opening of the event. And holy balls what an event.

My Cinematic Alphabet
Some folks on my Twitter feed have started doing this visual list of movies, picking one movie for each letter of the alphabet. Everyone uses different overall themes, so I decided to go with the movies that I can watch over and over and over again. Some of them were pretty hard, especially picking something for the letter X. And I’m sure in my haste to pick a title I’ve overlooked something really obvious.
